Over 500 Shows Already Signed Up to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival

August 2025 will see the return of the world-famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival, a month's long arts extravaganza which sees the city turned into a melting pot of talent, colour and excess. The renowned festival is already set to see over 550 shows, comedies and musical performances dominate the ancient capitol city.

From this, it is no surprise the festival is officially the largest arts festival in the world.

For the month of August Edinburgh will become a haven for art, culture and celebration showcasing a mixture of professional well known artists and and exciting newcomers.

Originally started in 1947 as a way to increase the mood of the country after the Second World War, the festival has expanded and excelled to new heights year upon year.

This year's festival will see performers from all across the art spectrum descend upon Edinburgh bringing with them a spectrum of art, colour, fashion and excitement.

The festival will run from 1-23 August with tickets to over 550 shows available online at Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Guests are asked to book performances in advance as tickets are most likely to sell out closer to the performance date.
